Time                Topics

7:30-8:30         Pre-registration/Registration--Use social competencies to problem solve how to sign in, find a seat, and enjoy getting to know fellow attendees.  On-site registration will be      available for higher fee.

8:30-10:15        Introduction to our research, and practice:  Social Thinking’s many layers.  Explore the Four Steps of Communication, related treatment strategies, and activities related to our thinking, our physical presence and our eyes

10:15-10:30      Break

10:30-12:00       Explore the language we use to relate to others, Delve into teaching the Four Steps of

                        Perspective Taking                   

12:00-1:15        Break for lunch (on your own)

1:15-2:45          Demonstrate how our motivational developmental tools help incorporate Social Thinking’s core teachings into established and sequences lessons.

2:45-3:00           Break 

3:00-4:15         Explore tools for social self-regulation:  emotional understanding, emotion compression, Social Behavior Mapping, and the Superflex curriculum. If time permits teach how to avoid errors when teaching the concepts.

Fees: 

The Pre-Registration Form and Payment of Fees are due before September 19, 2019.  A separate registration form is to be completed for EACH participant.     

Professional and Paraprofessional:     $70       (After September 19 and on-site $95 fee)                                  

Students and Parents:                         $40       (After September 19 and on-site $60 fee)
