The Communication Sciences & Disorders Program at Southeastern Louisiana University is hosting the 2017 Campbell Conference. The conference will be held on Friday, March 24, 2017 and featuring Dr. Meredith Harold, PhD who will be presenting on the theory and methods of play-based therapy.

The Communication Sciences & Disorders Program at Southeastern Louisiana University has started preparing for the 2017 Campbell Conference.  The conference will be held on Friday, March 24, 2017.

Dr. Meredith P. Harold, PhD, CCC-SLP will be presenting on the theory and methods of play-based therapy.  Dr. Harold will discuss the differences between academic work, play, and playful learning, as well as the when, why, and how to incorporate playful learning into speech-language therapy sessions.  Techniques and strategies will be presented.  This workshop is appropriate for speech-language pathologists working in early intervention, public schools, and private practices.
