Bring your ASHA membership number with you to CE activities if you want ASHA CEUs. 

WHY?

ASHA recognizes the concern members have regarding using their social security number when applying for ASHA CEUs.  In an effort to eliminate that concern, ASHA is phasing in the use of ASHA (or NSSLHA) account numbers. Beginning in early 2004, ASHA CEU Participant forms will be processed with ASHA membership numbers rather that social security numbers. The ASHA (or NSSLHA) account number is most easily found on the membership card. The account number can also be obtained by contacting the ActionCenter, 800-498-2071 or by e-mail: actioncenter@asha.org.

LSHA Continuing Education Listing Policy

A calendar of events relevant to the contemporary practice of audiology and speech-language pathology may be posted on the LSHA website and in the newsletter free of charge for nonprofit organizations as well as universities.  Practitioners who are conducting not-for-profit activities may also post meetings and workshops on the calendar of events.  The calendar may include the title of the activity, date, location, and contact person. Private, for profit activities, whether individually or corporate sponsored, will be required to pay an advertisement fee as specified in the publication guidelines.

Organizations or groups seeking co-sponsorship of events for ASHA CEU approval should direct questions to:

Promotional materials for the event must be pre-approved by the CE Administrator and must include the required ASHA CE promotional paragraph and CE logo.
